This song was born as an experiment - the first attempt in making some kind of a theatrical song, a crossover between different genres, a fusion of Bossa Nova jazz, piano jazz, dramatic orchestral and rock opera. It was also the first attempt to record a duet in our studio - together with a friend (Andrei Dreamspark) who got quite an operatic voice. We started recording it in.... August. Therefore the name and the theme that may sound a little bit off-season :-) Enjoy “While the summer is on”!

I hope you will enjoy this second “Una Corda Fantasia” played on the virtual version (provided by NATIVE INSTRUMENTS) of the unique piano, invented and created by David Klavins.

I would love to wish you all happy upcoming holidays! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I am happy to announce the release of my new piano album “Spirit of Journey”. The album is available on iTunes, Amazon, BandCamp, Spotify and other major online stores and streaming services. Your support is very much appreciated, all the earnings from album sales go back into the creation of music: new and better recording equipment, new and better composing tools and sound libraries and so on.

We hope you enjoy this little animation, which was made by our family team: illustrations are drawn by my daughter, animation is created by my husband and the soundtrack is composed by truly yours.

What would it be if you made a piano sound like a harp? What an enchanting, dreamy vibration could it produce, a touch of fantasia. I had an exciting privilege to play this piano, invented and created by David Klavins, in real life last summer. I am happy that I can play it again today in its “virtual” form, thanks to NATIVE INSTRUMENTS. I hope you will enjoy this “Una Corda Fantasia”.

Please enjoy my improvisational tribute for one of the maestros - for Bach.

Nov 28, 2015

Winter isn’t here just yet but I am missing summer already. Hope you enjoy my live performance of this jazz standard.

I’ve been singing this song since may years ago. One of my all times favorites.

It was the first time we tried to record it in a new setting: instead of recording the piano and the vocal separately, this time we tried to do it simultaneously. It was quite a challenge both for me to sing to the mic while playing and to my husband - to place the mics and produce the final result. Hope you enjoy it! Appreciate your comments, likes, shares and subscribing to my YouTube channel!

Those distant worlds out there, what dawns they see, what music do they hear? Hope you enjoy this spacey soundtrack.

Nov 6, 2015

Please enjoy my improvisation on “Etude-Tableau (op. 33, no. 8)” by Rachmaninoff.

Oct 30, 2015

Beware of the ghosts in the basement these days! May your Halloween be spooky but in a fun way :-)
Enjoy this video made by my husband for the two soundtracks we composed together (the opening “Weight of the world” and the following “Night in the Basement” spooky soundscape)

Oct 23, 2015

October, falling leaves, flaming colors, the most melancholic time of the year. Please enjoy my improvisation on “October” by Tchaikovsky.

Oct 13, 2015

I so loved the short melodic motif given to me by Roula Thomas at Daytime Ottawa, that I decided to record an improvisation on that same motif. Hope you enjoy this autumnal piece.

Oct 6, 2015

We had so much fun being at Daytime Ottawa TV Show with Derick Fage and Roula Thomas. Watch it to get some insights into our musical life and a live piano improvisation.

This is not for Elise but for another person... This is not Beethoven, but inspired by him a lot... Please share if you enjoyed this improvisational take of mine.

Reaching out seems to be one of the most difficult challenges for an artist.
Reaching out other people, their interest, their ears, their souls..

Aug 28, 2015

For a change, my husband and me decided to compose something different. Something as different as it was with “Popcorn Blues” not long ago. So... no piano this time :-) But lots of brass, strings, woodwinds - a soundtrack to accompany Mad Hatter’s Tea Party from “Alice in Wonderland”. Hope you will enjoy the film that was shot “on location” last weekend, filmed as a theatrical act, with costumes and some “decorations”.

Aug 22, 2015

Getting back to routine after the vacation: students, practicing, composing new soundtracks. Meanwhile, here is a little improvisation from me. Not an acoustic one :-) Just recorded it on keyboard while having a break from composing.

Aug 6, 2015

Could I ever have imagined that one day I am going to play on this unique piano? I don’t think so... It was something unimaginable... yet it happened...I just returned from one week vacation - it was like a dream... To come to Germany and Austria and visit musical places, which are so important to me - Beethoven’s and Mozart’s places... to meet many great musicians, whom I’ve got to know through SoundCloud... to meet David Klavins and touch the unique pianos he makes: Una Corda - a unique piano, sounding like a harp to my ears, enchantingly bright and ambient the same time. And, of course, The Giant - the largest piano in the world! What a sound, what a power, what a sea of harmonies! No camcorder recording can make it justice, alas.. I can only hope that one day I will get a chance to touch it again and record it properly. Still, I want to share with you the joy I had while meeting The Giant...

I haven’t played any particular compositions but mostly improvised on some motifs from famous compositions and from my humble pieces

Jul 11, 2015

Being inspired by soundtracks of “Interstellar” and “Terminator”, composed this piece together with my husband. He spent four days with our daughter shooting and producing this music video.

.... May it never happen in real life..

Jul 11, 2015

It was an absolute delight to play piano for this alternative soundtrack for “Painted Veil” movie, composed by David Francis Lyle.

Jun 26, 2015

A new collaborative track with Michael Orzek. Mike composed this piece and asked me to add piano. Enjoy!

Jun 21, 2015

One of the most emotional compositions from my score book - “Feel my pain”. Available on Amazon and Bandcamp!

Just a little piano improvisation - the way I like to relax:

Jun 12, 2015

I got accepted in the Sessionexchange.org directory of fantastic session musicians, many of whom I have known for quite some time!

Jun 9, 2015

A video recording from the remote session I had last year with Riad Hasan, who asked me to play piano for a song. We never met in person, yet, it looks like we were in the same studio. Internet is amazing!

It must be the most goofy, silly and crazy soundtrack that we’ve ever created. Both me and my husband are big fans of Futurama, so one day we decided to make a soundtrack for some kind of a not-yet-released cartoon trailer: goofy, strange, bizarre but, hopefully, fun enough to bring a smile to your face :-)

Enjoy the animation created by my husband for this soundtrack.

May 29, 2015

Recorded live performance of “Waltz of a dying candle” - another composition found in my book “Accidental Etudes”.

May 15, 2015

Here is me performing “Uneasy Etude” - one of the compositions included in my book “Accidental Etudes”.

May 8, 2015

Ever since I played “Moonlight stroll” improvisation, I knew that eventually I will turn it into a song - the piano impro just “asked” for it :) Especially, after some other soundclouders turned that open collaboration into terrific songs.

I am truly thankful to Michael Orzek who added his guitar magic to this song.

Apr 24, 2015

Composed this piece, having romantic movies like “The lake house” and “The notebook” in mind.

Apr 10, 2015

I’ve been busy lately transcribing piano pieces from my second piano album “Accidental Etudes”. One piece is left to transcribe and I will compile them into a book and publish it on Amazon, hopefully, in May. Some scores I will put on my site for free download. I plan to organize some online event once I release the book and invite you to play my pieces. There will be some prizes! More details to come later, stay tuned.

Meanwhile, here is another melancholic jazzy improvisation:

Mar 27, 2015

Hope you enjoy this little jazzy piece!

Mar 17, 2015

Just another rocking piano improvisation from me, hope you enjoy it!

Mar 8, 2015

So, I was listening to one of my piano albums and one of the improvisations just stuck in my head. When it happens, I know that song is going to follow... So, it was - earlier this week the words just popped out. Yesterday we recorded the piano & the vocals and shot this video. We only have one camera, so I had to play the song several times and my husband recorded the video from different angles. It wasn’t easy to sync everything, but, well, one day we’ll get more cameras to make it easier to produce such videos.

Mar 1, 2015

A new rocking piano improvisation from me, hope you enjoy the Drive!

Feb 18, 2015

Me and my husband scored the music for this book-trailer, filmed by Marina Delnik (my husband’s cousin) and Sergei Boiko (her husband) for the book written by Ludmilla Chebotarev (my mother-in-law). A family collaboration in action :-)

Feb 14, 2015

Happy Valentine’s Day! Enjoy this new love song from me!

Jan 30, 2015

Every collaboration with Michael Orzek turns into a very special piece of music. This time it was even more special with Chris Scheri joining in with a magical flute.

Jan 25, 2015

My latest session - I played piano for Jeff Slarve’s song, I hope you enjoy it. If you ever need a piano for your song or instrumental, please contact me for the details.

Jan 22, 2015

Being in the mood of some dark dramatic thriller.. Kind of “Twin Peaks”-ish moods.

Jan 20, 2015

It was a great honor for me to review this outstanding album by a soul-mate musician. With greatest pleasure I would like to introduce you to Stein Thor’s music!

Jan 15, 2015

A couple of months ago I was approached by Riad Hasan, who asked me to play piano for a beautiful song. It was quite a challenging experience for me, as I usually play piano and sing along when doing recordings. However, this song was in a language that I don’t speak, so I couldn’t sing it. It took some tries to play it right back in the last Fall. Last week the song was mastered and finally released! I hope you will enjoy it.

Jan 9, 2015

I hope you will enjoy this new improvisation “The whole tone of me”:

Jan 8, 2015

This week I’ve reached three (!) milestones on SoundCloud:

  • One of my tracks got 1000 likes.
  • I’ve got 20 thousands followers.
  • My tracks on SoundCloud have been played 1 million times!
All three milestones happened within one week, what a great start of the year that is?! It all was unimaginable for me when I decided to open an account on SoundCloud and made humble attempts in recording my piano improvisations and writing my first songs. I would like to thank all of you for the continuous support of my music!

Jan 5, 2015

Usually, I am more into jazz and rock than classical music. However, “Reverie” by Claude Debussy is one of my all time favorite pieces to play. Hope you enjoy it!

Jan 2, 2015

Feeling groovy and jazzy :-). Happy New Year everyone!
